~ Set me on a silver sun, for I know that I'm free ~ Show me that I'm everywhere, and get me home for tea ~ George Harrison, [JP - Philadelphia]
Did you guys see they put soundtracks for the series online? (This is Apple Music). Really just playlists, but a nice touch. @stevenc63.bsky.social @pablovich.bsky.social @pavementoyster.bsky.social @johnp69.bsky.social @mychameleondays.bsky.social @nemonihil1664.bsky.social @eggpod.bsky.social

I have to say that AI has shortcomings now and then in this. Not sure who that is, but McCartney it’s not.

Ugh. Stuffed from Thanksgiving dinner and Beaujolais Nouveau 2025. Poured a Troegs Mad Elf for dessert. Back to #BeatlesAnthology. This Harrison kid is killing on ‘Roll Over Beethoven.’ He’s going places.

Uh... Apple TV seems to have inserted a 'SPARKS' album that isn't yours into your catalog... @sparksofficial.bsky.social

Ok. I started the first one with my arms crossed due to the shortcomings of the physical releases/music content and the news that they shortened the episodes, but was thoroughly enjoying this almost instantly.

Where did you see that? And no, I won’t be giving away my DVD box. Nor my LaserDiscs…

A really basic downbeat song for George. You can feel his exhaustion. It’s his honesty that makes it one of the best on the album for me. Leon Russell’s piano work was a standout. Couldn’t make it again tonight. Chloe and I will spin it in a little while.

George Harrison is up on current events even after 57 years. #TheBeatles

Got my copy at your Philadelphia (adjacent) show on my birthday. Also pre-saved on Apple Music.

When I heard Bohemian Rhapsody in the 70s as a kid, Queen made a Beatles level impression on me.

Now playing on my hobby system: The new Sparks picture EP 'MADDER!.' Picked it up at their Philly (adjacent) show, so I get to enjoy the four new tracks before its October release. @sparksofficial.bsky.social #nowplaying #nowspinning #vinylsky #vinyl #vinylcommunity #musicsky #sparks

You guys (and bandmates) were Excellent! The sound production and light installations were way above average. Thanks!

Flu and COVID vaccines, one in each arm, achieved. I swear those vax needles get smaller every year. I didn’t feel a thing.

Sorry for your loss. This is our Rocco, who left the stage at age 17 a couple of months ago. He, obviously, was a good boy.

It was fun. Thanks! This guy did a good job on that album...

I'm seeing old and new versions on Apple Music, and concur on 'In Spite of All the Danger.' Something else: The Anthology Highlights album is no longer available to stream or purchase from Apple. However, a new (I think) playlist of the Highlights curated by Apple is available: tinyurl.com/43k9vf56

I vaguely remember a briefcase like record player as my first. When I was about nine, I asked for a stereo player and got one like this for Christmas. Within a year or so, the tech nerd/amateur audiophile in me developed and I wired two old 1940s speakers from the attic into it for a "bigger sound."

Highly recommended. The first fifteen tracks are studio sessions that are crisp and delightful, plus Beatle chat. You feel like you’re in the room with the boys.

I dunno. Kinda looks like placeholder art. On the other hand, I'm still not convinced this wasn't placeholder art that accidentally got used.

Same. The DVDs are a little higher resolution than the LaserDiscs, and has the expanded content. Lots more convenient too.
