Our local communities shouldn’t be in the deportation business. TN funds 30+ 287g agreements between ICE and local law enforcement agencies (with our tax dollars) ripping families apart and eroding trust. Tennesseans deserve safety, dignity & opportunity, not mass deportation.

The TN legislature adjourned and HB793, the bill aimed at kicking kids out of school for where they were born, is officially not advancing this year. As a proud product of Tennessee’s public school system while undocumented, this fight is personal. Education belongs to all of us.
