Proud to stand with Harvard custodians & security workers from @32bjseiu.bsky.social in their fight for a fair contract.

Cambridge residents rallied alongside the Harvard community when it was attacked by Trump.

If Harvard wants Cambridge to have its back, it needs to have the back of its workers

We did it!

Thank you to everyone who made this win to keep fighting for an affordable, inclusive, and sustainable Cambridge on the City Council possible.

I’m so grateful to every person who knocked doors, wrote postcards, donated, talked to friends & family, and voted

2 hours till polls close at 8pm!

More great conversations with voters—

The signature collection for 2026 ballot measures on rent control & state legislator stipend reform leading to great discussion about tenant protections & good governance!
November 4, 2025 at 11:08 PM
Great conversations with voters at the Morse and Peabody Schools about the City budget, the charter update, local businesses, and affordable housing!

If you care about housing & childcare affordability, safer streets, sustainability, and protecting immigrant residents, I’m asking for your #1 vote.

Let’s bring this home and keep fighting for a Cambridge that works for all of us

In 2018, I lost part of two teeth in a bike crash in Cambridge.

Two years after my crash—in my 1st term on the City Council—I introduced the 2020 Cycling Safety Ordinance.

It’s added miles of protected bike lanes—including on Hampshire St, Mass Ave, and Brattle St.

Beautiful morning to join the Peabody School Bike Bus for their Halloween ride to school with the School of Honk band!

I came as a City Councillor 4 days before an election who didn’t have time to plan a real costume.

Lots of volunteers there from @cambbikesafety.bsky.social

I lost my first re-election to the Cambridge City Council by a handful of votes.

If housing & childcare affordability, safer streets, and sustainability are issues that matter to you—

I’m asking for your #1 vote by 11/4!

Congresswoman @ayannapressley has been a champion for housing justice, transportation and safer streets, and childcare.

I’m proud to have her endorsement!

In-person early voting has started!

We voted early at the Main Library today.

Early voting is happening from now thru this Friday, 10/31!

Here are the 3 early voting locations & hours in Cambridge

The current US House Republican budget proposal cuts $1 billion in housing funds.

On the City Council, we’ve secured $1 million in City funds for housing vouchers, but the federal government needs to stop these cuts.

Proud to stand with @localprogress.bsky.social to demand Congress step up

Thanks to everyone who came out this weekend to drink hot cider and write postcards to voters about housing affordability, afterschool programs, sustainability and safer streets!

We have just under a month left win this election

One of my favorite Cambridge Public Library events is coming up on Wednesday!

If there’s any young people in your life who want a reading buddy, pass this along

I biked home in the dark from North Cambridge recently—which I wouldn’t have felt safe doing before the protected bike lanes.

One thing I love about biking in a city is you can stop & check things out in a way you can’t in a car.

Like the telescopes on Cambridge Common for Observe the Moon night!

We had a great event recently in North Cambridge!

Good conversations about afterschool programs, protecting immigrant residents, safer streets, housing affordability, and responding to the federal government
October 8, 2025 at 3:30 PM
It was a beautiful weekend to celebrate Disability Pride with residents in front of the Cambridge Public Library!

Also got to run the Fall Cambridge Classic 5k with friends in between canvassing shifts on Saturday and Sunday

Thank you to everyone who came out to canvass this morning! Today was a @bostondsa.org day of action for the campaign. And we knocked more than 1k doors!

We had great conversations with Cambridge residents—in multiple languages—about the end of forced broker fees, rodent control, and safer streets
September 27, 2025 at 11:01 PM
More photos from the event!

Beautiful day at the cargo bike test ride at JFK Park along Memorial Drive!

Great opportunity to celebrate community & people-centered streets and talk about improving transportation in Cambridge

One of the side effects of working at City Hall is that I get to see a lot of marriage ceremonies in progress.

But today was the first City Hall marriage I’ve seen that included a flash bomb group dance!

Thanks to everyone who came out to canvass this weekend!

We knocked almost 1,000 doors.

And we had great conversations about creating safer streets, expanding after school programs, strengthening tenant protections, ending exclusionary zoning, and building social housing
September 15, 2025 at 12:17 PM
Also great weather for the Thai Market Fair in Harvard Square
September 15, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Beautiful weekend to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cambridge Children’s Center with a block party in Cambridgeport!

It’s a great example of the kind of high quality early childhood program we need to support and help make sure is affordable for all families in Cambridge!

Thanks to Aman for inviting me to join @bos_cafe_bikers for the ride from Lechmere to Huron Village this morning!

Group bike rides to local cafes are a great way to build community and support small businesses.

You can follow them on Instagram and join the next group ride

You know Bluesky is taking off when even the safer street haters have started using it
