It doesn’t matter if you’re working class or a billionaire: climate change will hurt your grandchildren.

That’s why I cannot understand oil executives who sacrifice the planet’s health for their short-term profits

We must transform our energy system away from fossil fuels NOW.

We are witnessing a full blown war on science, public health & truth itself.

Let me be clear: Vaccines have prevented more than 1.1 million deaths, 500 million cases of illness & 32 million hospitalizations.

That's a lot of moms and dads who don't have to bury their children.

Renewable energy projects like this one in Humboldt County create union jobs, lower energy costs for Californians, and fight the harmful effects of climate change.

Trump's decision to revoke funding will hurt our economy and raise costs even more. It's stupid and shortsighted.

Leaders say the cut threatens jobs, climate goals and California’s clean energy future, even as the harbor district vows to keep the project alive.

Progressives get steamrolled all the time in Congress. We are an outnumbered bloc, especially on matters of defense. Shouldn’t be hard.

They know this isn’t “lefty” opposition. It is BROAD opposition from the American people across the board. The numbers show that. That’s why they’re pushing it.

If people really find this to be such an easy conclusion, then Congressional authority should be easy to get.

So why don’t they insist on a vote?

They know this isn’t “progressive” resistance. They want to marginalize it as such because on top of this war being ILLEGAL, it’s also deeply unpopular.
CNN’s Van Jones urges “progressives” to “get on board” with bombing Iran:

“I think progressives underestimate how dangerous Iran is. Iran is not a normal country,” he said on air.

Jones did not share whether he considers Israel—an apartheid state currently committing genocide—a “normal country.”

Netanyahu’s illegal unilateral attack on Iran risks a full-blown war.

These strikes directly undermine the U.S. diplomatic efforts to address Iran’s nuclear program. Talks were planned for Sunday, but Netanyahu chose to attack.

We must not be dragged into another Netanyahu war.

The United States must not be drawn into Netanyahu’s illegal war against Iran.

I will be introducing legislation to prohibit the use of federal funds for any use of military force in or against Iran without specific Congressional authorization, with an exception for self-defense.

If Republicans have their way on tariffs and their huge tax bill, most Americans will see their taxes go up, while those on top get a big break.
