As a SPED teacher who primarily teaches autistic students I see this a lot! Kids with no or very different number sense, sense of internal space, word to visual sense, etc. that were still navigating the world somehow! Do you have any pointers for developing these skills/ teaching these kids?

Yes in fact suicidal people becoming suddenly upbeat is a warning sign I was taught to report because it’s more likely to be a sign they’ve committed to a plan than that they’ve gotten better
