Welcome to Central Park, Astoria the Wild Turkey! She is high up in a tree this Sunday after being chased by two unleashed dogs. Please keep your dogs leashed so Astoria can come to the ground and safely forage and rest. 🦃 ❤️

Peggy Martin rose grew in a garden in the lower 9th ward in New Orleans and was the only surviving plant after hurricane Katrina and the flooding that followed.
It was propagated and used to fundraise all over the States.
It became a symbol of resilience.

The Angel Tree in Charleston, SC. I saw and took the pic of this beautiful southern live oak. It’s estimated to be 300-400 years old, its limbs laden with resurrection fern. It’s absolutely gorgeous! #NaturePhotography #TreesofBlueSky #OakTrees #LandscapePhotography #AngelTree #ResurrectionFern

I just sent Cory Booker money. I will send money to anyone who fights, and I will not send money to anyone who cowers in fear. That has to be the situation, for all of us.

Libraries are great for the books, sure, but it's also nice to have a quiet and safe space to sit and think- a place where no one is trying to sell you anything.
