Social democracy: within a democratic and capitalist system, it seeks to moderate economic and social inequalities through state intervention. It prioritizes the welfare state, labor protections, and wealth redistribution through progressive taxation, without abolishing private property.

Fascism: Extreme and authoritarian nationalism, totalitarian state control over society and the economy, suppression of political opposition, and the glorification of a supreme leader. It promotes a hierarchical and often militarized view of society, rejecting liberal democracy.

Traditional socialism seeks the abolition of private ownership of the means of production and a fully state-planned economy. Social democracy operates within the framework of a capitalist and democratic economy, but with strong state intervention to correct social and market inequalities.

If Trump succeeds in perpetrating this ignominy, the USA will never recover either its dignity or the trust of the free world.
