If you need to understand what's happening, this farce is a perfect place to begin.

A broken, unhappy man is being given a fake award he doesn't deserve by a corrupt group looking to bribe him and earn favors. It's meaningless, everything he wants, and it won't matter to him within an hour.
this shit is just beyond parody, man

There is no reason to be polite or decorous about this any more.

The current Supreme Court is corrupt.

US democracy cannot survive unless it is reformed.

You have until 7 to get in line to vote in TN-07 special election. If you are in line, STAY IN LINE, they have to let you vote. If anyone tries to tell you different record them and report them.

I don't pretend to know exactly what's going on with Marjorie Taylor Greene's resignation, but I sure as shit know we're not getting the full story. None of this makes sense.

Very important for people to read this portion of the Epstein Files Transparency Act so you understand 1) why Mike Johnson was so upset today, and 2) what is NOT permitted to be redacted by the DOJ.

Everyone is apparently an expert on electronic evidence production now, I see.

Some of us were actually practicing law when the first opinions on it were written and protocols for maintenance were drafted and understand how metadata works.

I’m so tired. Seriously it’s ok to dismiss opinions from

Just a reminder: there was a Biden administration investigation into Epstein and Maxwell's co-conspirators. Trump killed it in January, fired the prosecutors, stole the files, & ordered Bondi to open a new sham investigation, led by a handpicked prosecutor, so DOJ wouldn't have to release the files.

Expel the yes votes from the party and cut off all their access to fundraising, then remove Schumer from leadership. Anything less is mealy-mouthed coward bullshit.
As this vote moves to the House, I stand with Democratic leadership as they refuse to rubber stamp the full-scale Republican assault on Americans’ health care and I am proud of the majority of Senate Democrats who opposed this vote.

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.
The caucus meeting was just to orchestrate who would fall on the sword but not be up for a vote in 2026.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Cull the Democratic Party. Systematically chip away all the weak, corporate centrists and corrupt, gutless elected officials who refuse to fight and instead suck at the teat of the oligarchy.

They all need to go.
The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

But what's our alternative?🤷‍♀️
This shit is why people don’t trust the Democratic Party.

Primary. Them. All.
2/2

You think Dem voters would have turned out in the numbers, and with the enthusiasm, they did JUST FIVE DAYS AGO if they thought the party was going cave like this? Jesus
November 10, 2025 at 2:53 AM
I gotta agree. I'm tired of $upporting lawmakers who won't fight for their constituents.
We tried to show them after the last surrender. There's no sense in trying to convince them anymore. Primaries are the only path to a fighting opposition party now.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 95th day out of the last 107.

12 days of work in 107 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

America had normal elections across the country today. An unpopular president’s party suffered a rebuke at the polls in sign that our system of democratic accountability still works.

The dangers to that system are real and remain, but our democracy is not dead yet.

It’s on us to keep it that way.

People keep saying that this is a metaphor for what Trump is doing to our nation, but it is also a metaphor for what time is doing to him.

🚨BREAKING: The State of Arizona filed a lawsuit accusing House Speaker Mike Johnson of violating the Constitution by refusing to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva. The plaintiffs argue that Johnson’s delay has deprived hundreds of thousands of Arizonans of representation.

Tariffs making everything more expensive, Republicans shutting down the government, health care premiums set to skyrocket, demolishing the rule of law, a hateful mass deportation agenda.

This picture really sums up the last 9 months of the Trump presidency.
