So i didn’t technically apply to either one of those. They just fell into my lap kind of because i knew people who knew people. But if you don’t have that, it’s very hard to find a job these days. You almost have to know someone.

The one after that, the manager there called me and offered me the job bc i already knew them from a previous stint. So i had worked for that company part-time previously and i guess made a good impression so they asked if i wanted to come on full time.

Oh does that throw your scheduling in chaos? You’ll have to figure it out. Oh people aren’t applying? Have you considered raising your wages? No? Well then i guess enjoy being understaffed. Guess its true, its so hard to find good employers these days. No one wants to hire anymore.

always maintained that quitting on site is perfectly acceptable. I’ve seen for myself from my friend what it’s like to be fired on the spot without any dialogue or warning. Did they ask how that would impact his life going forward? No. They didn’t care. So if an employer quits on site, tough.
