Instead of reading Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams, read Dottie by Abdulrazak Gurnah. Both novels are bildungsromane about young black women, but the former insults your intelligence while the latter broadens your mind. #ReadThisInsteadofThat

Great episode from HBM. The thing I love the most about DAII is the architecture of Kirkwall itself. It used to be a slave city under the Tevinter Imperium, and it is still divided into High Town (slavers) and Low Town (slaves). The Chantry is in High Town, so it is a Temple of Mammon in effect.
