It's a rolled cake with frosting in the middle!

Got to introduce a new NHP copilot to one of my players last night as they'd hit LL3! Player swapped to 3 levels in Gorgon and picked up a SCYLLA, and gave me creative control over the NHP. They got to meet Cecil, who is based on "Welcome to Night Vale" fan art I found. #lancer

So this month has been pretty awful for a lot of reasons, but one of the most personal ones for me is that we lost our cat Piper last week. She was 17 and had a very good life. She was the main reason I made it through a very bad part of my life.

The usual thing I contribute for holiday meals are these fancy mashed potatoes. They're so damn tasty, and you can make them in an Instant Pot. Tons of gruyere and parmesan cheese and heavy cream.

First time making a gingerbread roulade cake, and it turned out alright? The spiral isn't tight enough and it cracked a bit, but I think I could have done a lot worse on my first attempt.
