Hobbyist photographer and programmer.
I also like glitch art.
When I'm not outside I'm working on a glitch inspired image filters web app for desktop: https://vismga.com/VisGlitch/
My phone logged me out over a month ago and I just couldn't be bothered to log back in. Guess that goes to show how much I like interacting with social media.

Fun fact when I initially started working on this project my first concept was a music visualizer. Now 10+ years later I'm finally working on the audio reactivity part.

Audio here from the Risk of Rain 2 soundtrack by Chris Christodoulou.

Some flashing lights warning.

Work was exhausting this week and I didn't want to go outside today so I did more work on my app instead.
Tweaking shaders, adding more options.

I always enjoy photographing storm clouds like this. In a way, it's fascinating. Do you enjoy it too?

I guess I'm collecting photos of other birds attacking bald eagles now. Here's an osprey I saw yesterday.

Sometimes something happens and you just have to hope your camera settings are good enough where they're already at. I had so little time to react to this, and the light and background changed as they flew across the lake.

Crazy way to see a peregrine falcon for the first time.

There's some very low tides in the Salish Sea this week. Here's a gull doing some fishing in a tide pool. This move they do really amuses me.

It's the time of year when the frequency of the "Where can I see otters?" question increases.

I guess my usual reply of "it is up to the otters" doesn't help much...

Counting on the weather forecast to decide where to adventure that I'm less likely to get rained on tomorrow morning. It's the PNW though so I'll probably get wet anywhere.

Not usually one to spend a lot of time taking pictures of flowers, but I sure saw a lot of flowers yesterday.
I think they're rhododendrons? Not a plant expert by any stretch.
