H. N. "Atom" Golibar (1949-2024) wrote dozens of supernatural thrillers, slashers, and horror novels in Gujarati. He and his wife "Fatakadi" (firecracker) ran an ad-free weekly pulp magazine for over four decades.

Sad news. We learned today that H. N. Golibar has passed away in Ahmedabad after suffering a stroke.

This man was an absolute indie publishing legend.

Rest in peace Atom-ji!

In 1970, after finishing his studies, H.N.Golibar added "Chandan" to the magazine's title, and soon started serialising his own science fiction and supernatural thriller novels in the pages, earning the nickname "Atom".
