Turns out we’re in the lucky 15%. Ichiban is a treasure and a trooper.

This is Suleiman the Magnificent (aka Monsieur Bisous/Mr. Kisses). He is half Great Pyrenees so he wants to be protective of the house but he’s scared of everything so that makes it difficult. And, yes, I apply his mascara daily.

He had VKH, so a genetic form of bleaching? When I first adopted him he was black and white and then lost most of his hair and it all grew back white. I have proof!

Sterling was a really good boy. Objectively one of the best. Even my non-dog loving friends gave him high marks. The ones that mattered, anyway.

My cat, Ichiban, who once upon a time actively tolerated and occasionally almost loved me (but only when her mom was out of town) now absolutely loathes my presence ever since I got a new dog.
