In either way, only 120-160 MW of electrolysers has been installed to Germany out of the 10 GW target by 2030.

"The short- to medium-term supply costs of renewable hydrogen exceed the indicative willingness
to pay."

Unfortunately what that means in terms of hydrogen aspirations is left without clear answer. Calling hydrogen ramp-up technology-neutral is quite a flex but then again replacing strict electrolyser targets (10 GW by 2030) with flexible, tells another story.

I can do better than that. I can point you to a great article on the subject, out today, by @visaskn.bsky.social: www.linkedin.com/pulse/learni...
Learning rates: The implications of slow decline in electrolyser system cost projections
This is the 2nd part of the hydrogen: Vision or Reality article series. First article can be found from here.

Nyt kun 2024 tiedot on julkaistu: lasku jatkui.

Nostetaan sellainen pikantti yksityiskohta, että toimialakohtaisissa päästöissä terästeollisuus on nyt ensimmäistä kertaa suurin (4,3 Mt), polttolaitokset on 4,1 Mt (2023: 5,1 Mt).

Polttolaitokset 2013-2024: -77 %!

Alternative therapies have always existed but there's a reason they have not become mainstream. The medicine has succeeded to keep us healthier based on empirical reasoning. #HydrogenSoufflé

Why would you accept 3-4 times error in hydrogen studies related to cost estimates which directly influences our understanding of the clean hydrogen potential today and in the near future? 2/3
