I think Baba Yaga being a total misandrist is expected given we were given the ultimate incel in the form of Belphegor. I think I mostly trust the series direction so far to make actual criticism and have a satisfying arc but we'll see.

You also have to play through every stage as player 2 in order to really get all sides of the story.
