Is it irony that Lemmy, a decentralized alternative to Reddit, is down due to Cloudflare outage while Reddit itself remains up? I think that’s irony. It’s certainly Alanis-style irony if nothing else.

I really dislike the term “vibe coding”, but as someone who falls into the middle ground of “not actually a programmer but knows enough to make sense of Stack Overflow”, I am really loving AI assisted code editors. Oh no, I can’t figure out why this function is failing, lemme just ask my sidebar.

I’ve got this giant spreadsheet that I need to break into multiple spreadsheets. This is the sort of thing that BEGS me to automate it, but it’s just a small enough job for “it will take me longer to automate than to just copy paste it” to apply. And this fact is driving me insane.

Today’s #firstworldproblems: I saw a picture of a really good looking cheeseburger so now I really want a cheeseburger for lunch but I really shouldn’t and even if I do I should wait until tomorrow because then it’s Friday which feels more acceptable to splurge but I also don’t wanna wait.
