Step 2: the bath. The vest didn't really stink, but it hadn't been washed in a decade. But as soon as I got it wet. It. Stank. So. Bad. I would describe it as "teen athlete gym bag at the end of summer break with rotten onions on top".
It took 4 hand washes to get clean.

Step 1 was just to take everything off, which took quite a while. She has some pretty bad damage to the collar from the spikes, and some small holes I will need to cover with patches.
