Looking forward to two days of interesting presentations on the Tokyo University 3rd UTOPIA symposium about vaccine development. Not really my field now that I work on gene therapy but as a virologist can't stop feeling nostalgic.

Wow, I can't remember snow this late in March in all my years living in Tokyo ❄️🗼

Suddenly spring begins on campus...

First time using the meeting room at the top floor in my hospital. I had no idea you could see both the Tokyo Tower and the Sky tree Tower from there. 🗼

Once again, I am reminded of the importance of properly taking care of my cells. On the left, "stable" transgenic cells that express reporters after rAAV transduction, but that went three passages without selection antibiotics. On the right, the cells after reselection with high doses of G418.
