A cleansing spring walk today starting at St Mary the Virgin in Kingston Deverill. I’ve become a real spotter for these anthropomorphic grave stones and there’s also a fantastic 14th century Flemish Madonna statue in the church

In 2006 a mysterious fairy ring appeared in Tom and Sue Gaylard's garden in Staverton near Trowbridge. For three years the ring of mushrooms appeared in their garden.
I can't find any information of it happening after that but I really hope it still turns up there each year! 🧚♂️#fairies #folklore

🏰 I’ve had a list of local places that I wanted to visit before moving away. 10 mins from my house… I’ve driven past Farleigh Hungerford Castle 100s of times but never stepped foot in until today. Highly recommend the crypt with anthropomorphic coffins.
