Love the transition of the ppl I consider my best friends. From ppl who would get angry and mock you if you didn’t do a bump with them to ppl who invite me to art nights with them and offer to go to the dentist w me when they find out I’m afraid.

Switching the entire world of my book to more fantastical and made up and not modern bc turns out I can only write modern plots for other ppl for myself I cannot stand them. I’m bored. I hit a wall.

And so much of it was already vaguely made up world building anyway I’m mostly there already

Didn’t do anything yesterday for NaNoWriMo but I did play around in picrew to create Rom and Lyova so that should count for something!
Rom-long black hair, darker skin, face tattoos and a badages, lots of piercings Lyova-pale blonde with short hair, has one (showing-more than one hidden) matching tattoo with Rom and some of his own, glasses, some light freckles

NaNoWriMo day 3
November 3 5112/50000 Lyova wasn't exactly sure what Rom had been like before they met. By then, he was already too far gone by most accounts, covered in blood, tracking every breath and movement Lyova made. He had heard rumors from their friends and family of course, but none were stories of a child. He'd even heard some from Rom himself. All he knew was that Rom had begun to crack when they were teenagers sneaking off together, and Lyova had fallen instantly in love with what had shone through. NaNo WriMo 2023 Dallas

November 2 3379/50000 They say everyone who looks into their family history will find a secret sooner or later. Unfortunately for Rom, he was the origin of his family's biggest secret. And Ily was certainly starting to look into her own history. He only hoped it wasn't documented well enough by their parents anywhere to remind her of the details. November 1 2575/50000 "You've made your point, love. Stop it. A singular voice rang crystal clear amongst the pandemonium even though Rom knew Lyova hadn't raised his voice at all. He shrugged, immediately regaining his joviality from just ten minutes prior, and tucked his knife back away. Turning to Lyova, he even almost looked sheepish. NaNo WriMo 2023 VDallas

Finding out my friend paid $500 for a basic tier of resume editing/building (and knowing how much he researches before spending anything/how much he values his job)…

Half of my job for the last few years has been recruiting and critiquing resumes bc our HR team can’t seem to..I could be rich???

And Ily was certainly starting to look into her history. He only hoped it wasn't documented well enough by their parents anywhere to remind her of the details. The inner selfish side of him, though, couldn’t wait for her to come back home. Ilyara had an inkling of where to look. It has started with doctor and hospital notes when she learned of her forced amnesia. But nothing seemed to explain the why. Why had her parents stripped away all her memories, all of who she was? It had to have been something devastating. All she knew was she was in a new country they had moved to purely for that awful medical treatment, if anyone could call something so unethical medicine. She entertained the idea of trying to go home, but that idea was always tossed away after a day or two of hopeful planning. She didn't really know who she was.
