They’re not worth that. I watched inmates making cowboy boots when I worked at the prison. $30 in material (tops) and 3.5 hours work time for custom designed and patterned boots. That’s no more than $165

Reading the story, they committed no crime. They researched a park and went there before opening time a couple of days. This sounds like a glorification of Islamophobia with no credible evidence that anything was amiss
