Made a new gym friend but I bailed on him once and he stopped responding feels like I got dumped but worse

Seeing all the cool work trips other bars get, staff retention, fun bits, etc. but there’s always been zero investment in the team of the bar I used to work at. Scolded for doing bits, having fun. Basic business says to invest in your people. That’s why you don’t recognize the staff a month later.
