Just finished Daughters of Flood and Fury by @gabriellabuba.bsky.social . First, how dare you make me cry multiple times at work!? Second, absolutely wonderful end to the duology! The first book was already fantastic, and this one kicked it up several notches!

I've read and enjoyed a fair few books by @delilahsdawson.bsky.social now, but "It Will Only Hurt For a Moment" might just be the best yet. It was unnerving in the best way, and the intrigue made me anxious during the brief breaks I had to take, puzzling over the mystery and eager to dive back in.

I just finished Written On the Dark, by @guygavrielkay.bsky.social , and it was a ride! As ever, Kay weaves a sweeping narrative that carries you along, not knowing where you're going but glad for every minute. Credit also to Simon Vance, who is the perfect audiobook narrator for Kay's unique style.

Just finished The Heir of Strahd by @delilahsdawson.bsky.social . Absolutely fantastic! As a current player in a Curse of Strahd campaign, it was cool seeing familiar elements, while also seeing Delilah's creativity and characterization at work. The twists were twisty and blew me away!

Now, I'm an author by trade, but even though it's not where my strengths lie, I love making art, and I continue to return to it because I have a creative drive to see my imagination come to life.
