Wow! That's super cool! Great autographs to get and on an excellent guitar to boot!

They're funny animals. Mine love to take a bit wiff of the air when I open the back door on these cold winter days. I think that's how they get the latest kitty news. ;-)

Thank you! That really cracked me up and scared my cats! ;-)

Yeah, it's one of my fav reissues...or prototype brought into full production albeit 50 years later!

Yeah, it's a really nice one. We only pickup reissues if they're on the more unique side. Had to get a purpleburst from the first batch of reissues 'cause they're very eye-catching.

Definitely! At the Danelectro factory back in the day, a lot of one-offs or prototypes were made. They tried all sorts of unusual combos. The original "Wild Thing" surfaced in the 1980s and was recreated as a production model in 2011.

Great poster of the Possum! I got to check out his museum in Nashville several years back. It was great. They even had the lawnmower he drove to the liquor store after his drivers license was suspended!

Very cool you saw Television there back in the day. I saw them a couple of times. Once at Irving Plaza and once at CBGB's in the 80s. Great band live.

I forgot to put a link to the gallery's web site, it's here:

I know, time sure flies. It features a lot of Blondie and The Ramones. But, there's some great text-based pieces like how to write a Punk song. Fun stuff.

There's a bunch of images of John's in the show. The gallery has a catalog for sale. If you want to check out the full show. It's fairly large and occupies 2 floors. I was impressed. The Ramones contact sheet was super cool to see from that early shoot with Tommy still in the band.

On ebay, there's a bunch of cheap pseudo copies of a Bat guitar. They're in the $250-$300ish range. But, I have no clue if they're any good.

Honestly I don't know what they sell for. I haven't seen any up for resale. I just checked reverb and they have one listed but not for sale at $2500. That's probably the high-end of of a ballpark guess. I think new they were around $1000.
