On this date, Matthew Shephard died 27 years ago. He was beaten, tortured, and left for dead on fence for being gay. Please keep him and his wonderful mother Judy in your thoughts. And let's all work for a world where such horrific things do not happen to anyone. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

I don't know about you...but I'm disturbed by the amount of hell NOT being raised by leadership about masked individuals jumping out of unmarked vans, refusing to identify themselves...and just shoving people into a Goddamn vehicle and whisking them away.

It should be illegal for law enforcement to wear masks and not show ID.
This makes it too easy to impersonate law enforcement and murder people in their homes.

Hi, it’s Meg again. Brad is still in ICE custody.

We are grateful to the many friends, supporters, and allies who have gathered in Federal Plaza.

Together we are standing up for those with no voice.

My first concert. War pigs is as relevant today.
I ❤️ Black Sabbath and am surprised mom let me and friend go.
The concert a sea of men in black leather coats passing joints.
We were in jr. high.
No one bothered us or talked to us. We took the bus there and back.

Sadly I did not know this for the first 55 years of my life. They do not teach you this. This is absolutely true. And we should honor all of them this Memorial Day and always

If it was a “personal” and not a “presidential” meeting, why the presidential seal?

You're seeing America kamikaze itself into a brick wall.

It didn't have to be this way.

But greed and racism, our two sins, will be our downfall.

Too many people still with their hands in the sand.

Phang: It’s time for federal judges to acknowledge that they have lifetime appointments—and that should give them the courage to uphold the rule of law, but also to put some damn teeth into the court orders they’re issuing.

it’s time that we start seeing action from the judiciary.

Amy Coney Barrett recused herself from the SCOTUS case re: funding Catholic schools. She gave no explanation but it was most likely bc it involved a close friend.

Why is it that she knows to do this and others don't? Paging Justice Thomas.

Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care.

They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working class families.

Warnock: You literally have, in real time, the leader of another nation-state—in this case, South Africa—there to talk to him about trade, and he’s saying, “Sorry, Mr. President, we don’t have a plane to offer you.” And you see why we have an Emoluments Clause in the first place.
