Burning of woody debris dominates fire emissions in the Amazon and Cerrado - Nature Geoscience
Fire emissions in the Amazon and Cerrado biomes are mainly produced from smouldering combustion of woody debris, according to observationally constrained fire emissions inventories.

These numbers are mind-boggling.
Day and night averaged downward shortwave (=sunlight) radiation over summer increased by over 20 W/m²!
Net downward radiation increased by 15 W/m²!
Most of this is attributed to reductions in aerosols:
