I have a pretty strong almost stationary Mercury natally and usually do ok during Mercury Rx's *knocks on wood* — more worried about technology, info or planning for exams being confusing 🤞

Obvi such intricate aids were only accessible to those lucky enough to have cultural/financial capital but you bet there were also wheelchairs and prosthetic limbs being made all over the social strata which didn't survive to our time bc noone thought them worthy/they were used until they broke etc.

He doesn't seem to, but the first actor who portrayed him in The Original Series, Jeffrey Hunter, is a Sag Sun and the current actor, Anson Mount, has a Sag Moon 🤭

I have too much brainfog rn to think of any sources though, sorry 😅 but it's not something you'd likely find in sources pre-20th century. Psychological modern astro should have sth though, if that helps 💖

Absolutely also about tending to our inner child as well as children in general, not just ones we raise ourselves! Can be working with children and child-related topics too. I think life-long childhood wounds would bring in the malefics and/or IC, but certainly transits could bring those up too.

Also, I rly struggled with writing a report for one of my class and my teacher gave me extended time to turn it in. She forgot to change the settings though so while I finally finished it last night, I'm only now turning it in... only to get this (for a 190kb pdf file) 💀

Any Finnish or Sámi folklorists, animists, historians etc who want to chat about these things or do a joint folklore project, I'm so open to it – I also need to get reading some of the books I have about Finnish and Sámi folklore 👀

...died away in the other countries? Both? Some other reason entirely?
Finland and Iceland also never had their own monarchy but were under the reign of the neighbouring countries, and I think that has a strong effect on a people and their stories.

From the little I've read about Finnish (and, to some extent, Sámi) customs and folklore, there are definitely connections that we have in common that don't seem to be shared with Norway, Sweden or Denmark. Is it because there was a strong cultural connection way back when, or bc those customs...

I think Finland and Iceland have so much in common that is different from the rest of the nordics, maybe because our landscapes offer very limited resources for tight knit communities, so people lived in single farmsteads with long distances between them, and the harsh winters.
