Maybe because, at least between western parties under these labels, there is very very little difference, if any, for all but those who are already the closest beneficiaries of its status quo. From any sort of distance, you have to squint really really hard to see how they are modestly different.

Believe it or not telling people they are dumb doesn't usually sway them. Maybe there is a different way to build coalition with people around basic common interests?
