We are worried about our students. There is a misapprehension that behaving "unhappy" gives an impression of worldliness or that it signals empathy to the world’s problems. What is worse- suppressing happiness changes your capacity for joy.

Another exciting paper out!! Using point-light displays, depressive symptoms were shown to be linked to difficulty recognizing neutral emotions in body movement without facial cues.
