Especially if you're doing it all in the public eye.
They live with a level of physical, mental, financial, and spiritual exhaustion that would bring the rest of us to our knees. We can't force them to take their meds, to keep fighting. But we sure wish we could.

She asked her beloved drama teacher if he was going to donate blood, only to have him admit he couldn't. Mo knew he was gay, but didn't understand why that mattered. She did a deep dive online that night, and has been a passionate ally ever since.
