These are movies for young people, man. That is morbid and depressing. Also, Ben did make peace with his death. That’s not the problem. The problem is the message to the audience that he never actually escaped the shadow of his grandfathers legacy.

Dude, that was Anakin’s reason for turning to the dark side. If you think Ben should be burdened with the same fate, you’re justifying the reason he turned to the dark side: the overwhelming pressure to live up to his families legacy. Seems like a pretty awful moral to a story.

That’s twisting the situation. Adam Driver said he wanted to make a movie and was turned down. What does that have to do with Finn? If John Boyega said the same thing, I’d be going to bat for him, too. All four of the new characters in the sequel trilogy didn’t get the stories they deserved.
