I think actually the hunters haven't been coming around as much as they used to. I only saw a couple (hunters) in the field this year, and heard no gun shots, which is a blessed first.

In the last few weeks we've been getting between 8-12 of them a day in our yard. One even came up on our deck and another flew up into our crab apple tree! I've lived in this house for almost 30 years and every now and then we'd get a few, but I never saw anything like this before!
