We smiled while we were there but we cried the whole way home after. It was an intense experience to see children so sick. And I, an adult with a chronic illness, felt so drained that I’ve been in bed all night.

I don’t usually like coffee with no cream but the Cafe de Olla came in a pretty terra cotta mug and it was so rich and fragrant that it truly didn’t need the dairy. ☕️ 🇲🇽
