My local LPO (Aust Post agency) was shut down in Dec for no apparent reason. I found out in Jan their licence to operate an LPO was immediately revoked as they were selling illegal tobacco.

Yeah, but nuclear was an issue which all Australia’s opposed. In Vic having Fed funding, in the words of Dan, being offered as foreign aid, was specific to our State. Even if you disagree with the loop, we are now close to opening new stations & it would be negligent to cut funding at this point.

Hey The Age how abt you mention why our surplus is short a few billion? Vic was starved of Fed funding during the LNP years. They deliberately, maliciously, & through pure ideological hate, reduced our funding. Also, the NSW Fed Govt would only deign to provide funding for projects they approved.

During the 9 year LNP reign of incompetence, Victoria suffered crippling cuts to our Federal funding. It was purely ideological. We still receive less than what parity should be.
