one factor might be that with movies like Dune, they started by having an actual story and then made the effects to tell the story (so they don't need more than they need). Every modern Marvel movie starts with the effects and then sloppily adds some thin story as an excuse to show the effects.

forøvrigt parallelelt til det ekstremt komplicerede skattesystem i USA hvor selv almindelige lønmodtagere har brug for en revisor. Der kan gøres simplere og der har været forslag om at forenkle det. Men hvem er imod det? Dem der gør politisk karriere på at være imod det komplicerede skattesystem!

jo dyrere det er, des lettere er det at få folk til at klage over hvor dyrt det er. Politikere vil gerne have at folk koncentrerer sig om at klage over folk der ikke har politisk indflydelse i stedet for at klage over dem der har magten. Det er altså i racismens interesse at asylsystemet er dyrt.

Everybody knows what that was. We all saw it and we all know what we saw. We need to stop pretending that those are claim they saw otherwise is doing anything other than pretending. If we let them gaslight us on what we literally all saw they can have us question anything about reality. They KNOW.
