I definitely feel this. It’s hard not getting demotivated. Even this past weekend I felt the same thing.

You’re doing good. You’re putting yourself out there. You’re inspiring others even if it doesn’t seem like it. I say that because your work and others’ push me and I can speak from experience.

Is it going to fit *after* the con?

One thing that did change things a bit for me was realizing how certain colors react when darkened or brightened. For example, blue stays fairly similar. Yellow looks like ass if it’s too bright or too dark.

This is why I like doing work under controlled lighting best. 😁

Totally understand! Makes you feel like you can’t trust your own eyes.

Have you tried bumping up the saturation to make it easier to see what colors are where? I’ve also tried being more selective on which colors to boost so I don’t get excess of the colors that result from mixed lighting.

Inspiration can come from any direction, and sometimes it needs a bit of authentic background blur. 🤌
