We don't have any idea how the two of them would feel about each other given that they never really directly interact in game, but in an AU where Benna hangs out around the Hideaway as a Vegeta figure I think it would be really entertaining if the two of them couldn't stand each other.

He's got a lot of moving parts. I would need to reference his phase change in his fight in order to figure out what parts get added/removed when he shifts to his "demi-prime".
It also explains why he calls three different texture sets, the semi prime, Odin and a set unique to the demi-prime itself

On the other hand, I still feel like Cid DOES know more about the situation than he's letting on based on the convos in the Hunter and the Hunted, and is just choosing this roundabout way of doing this because... He thinks Clive wouldn't believe him if he just told him outright or something?

My thoughts are that Cid had his strong suspicions that Joshua was alive, but was waiting for Gav to be able to actually confirm it before sitting Clive down and having a conversation about it.
The inner voices insight does seem to support that, as it implies Cid's trying to puzzle him out.
