How could we have known that generation was the last time console makers would use bespoke architectures? Or that an Xbox console would have true exclusives worth a shit? Not that having games show up on PC and Playstation is a bad thing for consumers, it's just watered down the Xbox brand

Why would anyone buy another Xbox at this point, when everything will be on Playstation/Switch/PC? Other than a handful of exclusives that are marooned on OG and 360 that may or may not work with back compat, there's zero reason for consumers to further invest into the platform
