Thing I dont like about big cons like MFF is they see your badge, see your name. But they dont see a fursuit, know you're an SL user who posts content, stop to ask for pics/collabs, ask what AV mod I use, no invites to parties, or ask how my SL inventory is going. Bit superficial.
