I’m definitely frustrated with how long job 1 has taken but I’m thinking the interviews have probably been tough to coordinate around everyone’s schedules. (three sessions back to back with nine people total) or then again maybe they already decided and are ghosting me lol

got it. to be clear my intent with this wasn’t to bluff it was to figure out how to try to pace the job two process (like if job one says they’re deciding next week I could tell job two I’m out of town for Thanksgiving and can’t interview until the next week or something)

already got an email back to set up a phone screen for this job this week so they seem to be moving quickly. would it be appropriate to check in on job 1, tell them I’m under consideration for a different job, and ask about their timeline? or would that be offputting?

there’s no way they’re gonna ghost me after an in-person interview, right? like I’m surely going to hear a “no” from them? I have been ghosted after Zoom interview and that was bad enough

thanks for good vibes everyone. very happy with how I presented myself and now it’s up to them to decide if I’m what they want 🤷♀️ I have no idea who the other candidates are or what their qualifications are but giving the thoroughness (CEO sat in for all three hours) I doubt there are many of them
