They are going after DEI because they know intersectionality worked. And a lot of liberals and leftists both jumped right on board with finding people they could exclude to appease the imaginary “centrist” voter.

This is one of my earlier posts, but with last week’s Supreme Court ruling that jeopardizes the safety of all trans people in the UK, it seems very relevant to reshare.

I love that Transgender Day of Visibility exists. But sometimes visibility is the last thing I want as a trans person. This article discusses my experiences with Transgender Day of Visibility, and how visibility can be a doubled edged sword.

Since the election, I keep seeing well meaning people telling trans Americans that they should leave the US and declare asylum.
Please, please, please, fucking stop this shit.
To my knowledge, there isn’t a country in the world that would grant the asylum request of a trans American today. 1/2

If you are trans, live in America, and travel to a foreign country, I suggest tagging in a trusted friend when you are reentering the US. Tell the friend the time and port so they can plan to be ready. Then, when you near reentry, send a message that you are nearing customs. 1/2

I’ve updated my pronouns. She/her. I’ve removed “they” from my preferred pronouns list. When I first came out, I had memories that are best described as genderless. Now that I’ve been myself for over a year, it’s clear that these memories were based on how I went through the world, not who I am.

The results from The Trevor Project’s 2024 national survey show that when queer youth was asked what people can do to support them, a whopping 88% said that people should believe them when they say who they are. Supporting queer youth does not take a Herculean effort. Just start by believing them.

There are over 35,000 concessions suffered each year by girls in high school volleyball. The rate is 7.5 concussions per 100 players. Highlighting one incident with a unique variable while not highlighting the other 34,999+ concussions is nothing but manipulation.

After socially transitioning, I continued to have people sending things to my old email address, containing my deadname. So I changed my name literally to deadname and put an out of office message on telling them I won’t check this address. Amazing how fast people switched after saying it was hard.

NIH letters went out Friday abruptly cutting off funding to current grant recipients of transgender health. This will take generations to recover from. It’s na*i level shit that accompanies genocide. What is happening to trans people is genocide.
