It was a terribly difficult week last week and we had to make the hard decision to say goodbye to our dear sweet Mouse. I have been putting off this post because making eye contact with the loss is a lot to process. She was my best friend for 15 years.

I have a couple shows coming up towards the end of the year so I am trying to get a jump on creating stuff. I hope y’all don’t mind a lot of work in progress pics heading your way! Also, I didn’t have a banana handy so I had to use a pencil for scale 😬

I like doing the smaller paintings of the native plants because they are basically bite sized but sometimes… sometimes I just want something a bit more substantial that I can let consume me. 20x40 watercolor painting with me for scale 😂
