Here to escape what Twitter became. Woke is not a pejorative term. Lefty. Mostly films, games, books and things that make life better, but subject to bouts of melancholia. https://boxd.it/uB1B
C'mon, deny it all you want, tell me it's not in your word list, we all know it's a thing.

Just finished the beautiful 'Keeper' from the ever inspiring @doublefine.com

Wasn't sure how invested I could become in a game where the protagonist is a lighthouse.

Turns out the only true art is that which makes me invest my heart in to the wellbeing of a lens.

One of my most cherished memories was a 4 day sleepless stint in Las Vegas, with 3 of my closest friends to watch Hatton/ Mayweather.

A bizarre blur of absolute madness and decadence, with the soundtrack of winter wonderland ringing out in to the desert.

RIP Hitman.

Finished it now. It gets a little repetitive towards the end, and the final boss is disappointing, but there are moments of brilliance that make it more than worth it. Like this big fella and his theme tune.

Really enjoying South of Midnight. Gameplay is nothing new or earth shattering, but solid and entertaining. The thing looks and sounds beautiful though, elevating the whole experience.

Might be misremembering, but it reminds me a lot of 'Enslaved' on the 360, which I loved when I played way back.

I don't get there as often as I should, but seeing old friends in Llanfairfechan is always worth it. 30 something years later - births, marriages, heartbreak, careers and deaths, and ultimately, still the same dickhead teenagers.

Was very funny, definitely more comedy than horror, but that's no bad thing.

Didn't get to the big screen this week, but it was a solid 3* week at home, and you should never underestimate the joy in a 3* film. #filmsky

The most fun I've had with a 'triple A' title in a while. Absolutely nails the aesthetic of the best of the films, plays brilliantly, looks and sounds amazing, has a really enjoyable story and great characters. Recommended for everyone, but an absolute no brainer if you're on games pass.

Well, that's one way to start a Sunday morning.

Difficult to nail down a description - in gaming terms it's very much its own beast, but it's like a feature length mix Big Night Out, the best of Boosh and (adult) Aardman quality detail and background jokes. It had me from the opening question!

Not sure what is says about ones social standing when the dog's christmas card tally is now equal to mine.

Christmas has arrived and drunkenly thrown up all over the house, the dog and me.

I don't know how someone as angst ridden, world weary and generally just as twatty as me managed to have a kind, polite and generally lovely child, but I did. And she's definitely mine, before anyone asks...

Easy mistake to make, I was there, and wearing the same jacket.
