It's time to win the future back.
I think the long-term path to winning Nebraska is turning the suburbs of Omaha and Lincoln solidly blue and making some of the smaller cities light blue or at least light red. It's not trying to do jedi mind tricks on a bunch of rural voters in NE-03 with an "independent" candidate.

For the love of God it seems like half of the population of IL-09 is running for the Democratic nomination there. Is it too much to ask for another candidate for ME-Senate?

The timing of these emails really sheds an interesting light on two things: the NYT coverage of Hillary's emails and Pizzagate. The former is a choice to play up one scandal and ignore another. The second looks like an effort to muddy the waters ahead of a hammer they thought was about to drop.

What would be even better is if redistricting is a draw based on 2024 then Texas turns out to be a dummymander in a blue wave.

It's also bad karma. I can imagine a non-insignificant group of people cheering on the DOGE job cuts earlier this year found themselves getting their own job cut as the economy contracts. I feel anxious hearing about people at work getting fired even if they're a fuckup.

I think you get SC Governor only if Mace is the nominee. I think that's why so many of her colleagues have the knives out right now. They know she could sink them.

I don't think it will be long if they are already doing bailout trial balloons.

She has a great legacy and is probably one of the top 5 women in American politics.

OTOH, I would like to see Ds run on a congressional stock trading ban for the midterms. It fits with a larger anti-corruption message and could reach low-info voters. I don't think that happens with her in office.

Affordability is his goal in the same way permanent sobriety is my goal.

People whose opinions are worth listening to want to be talked to like adults.

I'm far from NYC, but what vision was Cuomo even trying to offer besides not being Mamdani? From a distance that seemed like his only schtick.

Spanberger's margin in Loudoun is right there with Kaine 2018.

My guess is that the size of the HOD majority will determine how she governs. I know the Senate will still be 21D-19R, but there's no reason to think Ds won't expand that in 2027.

I'm starting to think the media loves Trump because they are exactly alike: soulless creeps who fill the void with attention and flattery.
