Last pickup from the London Gaming Market was this Sharp Famicom Disk System, which apparently works just fine. Waiting for a suitable 240v power supply to arrive before taking it for a spin

More haul from Sunday's trip, 2 for 1 today, picked up a copy of Mario's Tennis for the Nintendo Virtual Boy (I don't have one but figured I'll pick it up while I see it) and some Super Famicom games. Loving the box art on these games, always more vibrant than the US/EU versions

More haul from Sunday's trip, 2 for 1 today, picked up a copy of Mario's Tennis for the Nintendo Virtual Boy (I don't have one but figured I'll pick it up while I see it) and some Super Famicom games. Loving the box art on these games, always more vibrant than the US/EU versions
Next little bit from the London Gaming Market (yes I'm posting one at a time to make it look like I'm active), a Chocobo themed Wonderswan and two games. One I think is a Mystery Dungeon, the other I'm not sure yet. Sadly the screen is broken, I will have to have a look and see what can be done.

I saw this Nintendo Game Boy at the back of a game store from about 5 metres away. It's sooo pretty, a shiny blue colour with the Final Fantasy cover plate. Looks like it's never been used, both console and game boxes are perfect with everything included (won't talk about how much it cost me)

I saw @retroelin.bsky.social had one of these (thanks for having cool things), I'd never seen one before then but knew I neeeeeded one as soon as I found out they existed! Love how much like the Game Boy it is.

This was the main part of my recent purchase, a US SNES! I've wanted to get one for a long time, theyre harder to get outside the USA. This one is boxed with everything included

Next up, these two. I loved Sim City growing up, so couldn't resist getting the Saturn version. Sonic R was just another obvious grab for me, no manual with it sadly

New haul today, which is good because it gives me something to post about! First up is Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo for the NTSC SNES. Bit different for me at least, being UK based the USA carts aren't seen too often. Manual is a bit rough but otherwise decent condition

My new joy pads arrived today so I took the promised photo of the modded R36S. The wiring of the wifi could be a bit neater but I don't have the correct tools for that small soldering so I had to make do, it works so that's good.

Spent a bit of time adding WiFi and rumble to my R36S console, might get some pictures next time I take it apart to sort out the wifi/speaker interference and swap the joysticks. Apart from a few niggles, these cheap Linux handheld are really good emulation machines (pic for impact)

I didn't have a Sega Saturn growing up (I was a Nintendo kid), at the time it kind of passed me by but I was lucky enough to get one second hand in my 20's. Unfortunately I had to sell it on but was able to get another, boxed, which I still have. This time it came with a modded Action Replay cart 😜

This is Dobby, named for his large ears. He's a 2ish year old Chinese Crested who occasionally appears on stream. He likes blankets, his stuffed penguin and tennis ball, and has a fondness for (tearing apart) cardboard boxes
