The answer ended up being exactly what I expected it to be: the trainer card background takes the colors from the gender you didn't select's palette
But fsr the rom won't recompile if I change his graphic... So instead, I edited the code to make the background match your gender uwu MORE PINK YAY

Additional discovery I just made: Falkner's color ALSO affects Gold's trainer card background, because the blue part also comes from him it looks like??
Now how do I do that to Kris' trainer card instead....

Kirby's Adventure! ...Or rather, by the time I started forming memories I'd already played our NES plenty and we had four games (this one, Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, and some racing game). But this one was my favorite by a long shot + I got VERY good at it even that young

I like how this Velvet I drew turned out a lot, but I've been having problems figuring out how exactly I want to shade + light her... so for now I'll post a few WIPs: one with lineart but no color, and one with flat colors
