The forest of my village #SanEstebanDeNogales has burned. The region suffers abandonment. Extreme weather conditions and limited extinction resources have fostered a fire burning thousands of ha. Yesterday, we were evacuated, today, 25 villages have been already evacuated. We are awaiting for news

Today, I took part of the ESP24 Conference where I presented a collaborative reflection between 28 researcher and practitioners across 21 organisations from 4 continents on how to maximise the benefits of co-design with farmers to improve biodiversity conservation. Big thanks for this cool research!
