If I could get this one away from the feeder I can clean it!
REALLY important to clean regularly, can be fatal to them if not done at least once a week. Mild soapy solution, lots of hot water and new sugar solution weekly, more often in hot climates. #birds #vancouverisland #arbutusridge

Hummingbirds came back quickly after we were gone 3 weeks!
Hated to leave them without food, but you should change it at least once a week.
