Funnily I'm generally treated well by new drivers, might be because they were recently dependent on cycling as transport recently..? Hard to say tho.

Ugh..sorry to hear, glad you're okay. Did they stop? By law they're supposed to pass with over 1m of space, guess that's not being taught?

Here's a very undesirable aspect of this: gun registration applications are at a record high right now. We're taking another step towards adopting another US problem with skyrocketing gun ownership.

What makes you say they aren't used? Because they're not bumper to bumper packed with bikes? Empty bike lanes likely means they're working efficiently. Streets packed with cars are not a sign of success. 🤦
